UNITED MARITIME FISHERIES (P.E.I.)
The objective was to develop and launch nationally, a new product line of high quality seafood products - with minimal advertising support. Following a market, competitive and management overview, the product line, and marketing/sales strategy was recommended. The emphasis was on a strong, dynamic visual image and packaging with sales support material, to create the sales 'pull'. All consumer legal and regulatory requirements were achieved. The first 3 products were enthusiastically accepted, 'listed' and distributed nationally in a smooth manner. This 'premium' line was extended by five more products. This greatly increased National (and some International) sales, established U.M.F. with a very credible 'brand Identity' and profile, and helped solidify the income for thousands of Maritime fishermen and their families.
