(Co-op Program in Management and Economics) Demand from students for a Co-op style education increased dramatically. The University doubled the enrollment quota of students entering this program without any concrete long-term plan to increase the number of 'employer' placements! The URGENT challenge was to QUICKLY DOUBLE the placement quota per term, whilst competing with the marketing tactics of other Universities. Following my analysis, strategic planning, marketing communications and launch tactics, requests for placements doubled within three months. In the past year, placements have increased by more than 300% ! ...unprecedented in the U. of T.'s 20 year Co-op history. |
